The servant girl followed Paul and his preaching party for days, proclaiming that they were preachers of the truth, but rather than being happy for the free publicity, Apostle Paul got annoyed at the devil and cast the spirit of divination out of the girl. The spirit was telling the truth about Paul saying “These are servants of the Most High God” but if a person speaks something that is true but not in the Spirit of God, it can still bring forth death. Truth only has life, if it is ministered by the Holy Spirits anointing. You can Google God; get a sermon from some great preacher but unless the Spirit who anointed them gives the same anointing to you, it will not have the same life.

Maybe someone tells you your prophecy was bad or you missed God; maybe they question whether anyone gets healed because they didn’t when you prayed for them. It is good to receive adjustment but if it’s given in the wrong spirit, it can shut down your faith and areas of expression and faith can get bound up in your life. What they say may be the truth but the result is still dead because of correction without love or in a wrong spirit. There is nothing wrong with the adjustment but if God is in it, it brings greater life.
Friend, watch out when people come into your life and speak the truth but in a wrong spirit. It can bring you into bondage or bind you up.
