God said to Abraham you shall be a blessing. That runs in the family for we are spiritual relatives of Abraham. If any group of people on the earth should speak differently it is the believer in Jesus Christ. We are only here to be a blessing and words are the tools by which we release blessing. If people speak negative words and curse words over others it affects them but so does the blessing. The Bible says that the power of life and death is in the tongue. Proverbs 6.2.

And people don’t even have to hear it before the spirit can move through those words. You just have to have someone speak it.

Everyone who speaks out of an angry spirit can bring a snare upon others and foolish statements can bring a curse and a snare upon our own life. Growing up we might have said….. I wish I didn’t have that kid. I hate being pregnant. I wish I wasn’t married to him or her. I don’t want kids. I’ll never be able to afford to buy a house. I’m never going to figure out what to do with my life. We’ll never be able to tithe. I can’t do anything right. I'm a disaster. My situations hopeless and there is no hope.
Friend, all these words will snare us to some degree. But we can be free through repentance. Now in Christ nothing is impossible. Instead, all things are possible! Let’s agree with God, align with His word and release His power.
