Another Vessel

Jeremiah walked down to the potter’s house and saw the old potter working at the wheel. Suddenly the pot is ruined in his hands but rather than discarding the clay, he begins to fashion another vessel from the clay. Jer18.1-4.

The Potters house represents the Church and He is there, making something on the wheel. All of us were marred by sin in the hand of the Potter but we are still in His hand and He has taken us again and He’s making us again into a new vessel. He is making something beautiful out of my life and yours. From the dry clay of our earthen existence, He begins to make something, first, by adding the water of the Holy Spirit to the dust and dirt of our human life.

Friend, God is making something great out of your life. His hand is upon you and He won’t stop till he satisfied. Stay pliable and remain in his hands.
