Time of preparation

Elijah was exhausted and sat down under the juniper tree. He’d had enough. It’s hard to be creative when you are burnt out and hungry; when the teacher has not been taught and the feeder has not been fed. (1Kings 19) but under the Juniper tree, God will meet you and feed you.
God was preparing Elijah for something. We all need to be prepared by God. David's smooth stones were effective because they were prepared. Your troubles are Gods preparation. Get out of your changes and your difficulties everything you can get out of it. Don't waste your problem or your changes. Don't leave your problem till you have fed off it. It's a juniper tree; get something from it and move on.
Joseph received his dream from God and then everything seems to go wrong. He was hated by his brothers, sold to the Egyptians, falsely accused, but he saw it all as preparation for his day of promise. He took his lessons forward with him. Elijah's bread lasted 40 days! If God is cooking up a meal for you it should last longer than a day; it is preparation for your life!
