Jesus is the centre of history. He is the centre of the Scripture and He is our central reason for living and mission.

He’s our Model, our Master and our Example. He is our Leader, our Life and our Way. We owe our existent to Him in this life and the next. Our mission in life should be to know and love Him more.
So what is Jesus really like? Some will take the lion out of Jesus and have Him a pasty, anaemic, weak figure.
Others tend to make Jesus after their own image.

The coach paints a picture of Jesus who performs at 110%. He is a winner who is always thinking on his feet. If you listen to some Christian businessmen, they’d tell you Jesus had principles for success. He knew how to present His product and close a sale. They don't tell you Jesus chose Judas the thief and guys with no education and personality quirks.

There is no one like Jesus. He is the Alpha and Omega. He the start and He is the finish.

He is the bright morning star. The star that appeared brightly to the world before the new dawn, and the Star that has shone into our hearts. Of course, there is no one like Jesus in His divinity but let’s remember too that everyone is like Jesus in His humanity!

Friend, we are all like him because He was just like us except for our sin. He was born of women and had to have his nappies changed. He ate food and needed rest even though he was God. He got angry, bled and suffered. He was powerful and at the same time, he was weak. He completely understands us as a human but has the power to help us as God. He is truly awesome!
